Four days, five kilometers a day, and a city full of atmosphere: that is the Leiden Evening Four Days March . During this sociable and sporty walking event, you will discover the most beautiful spots in Leiden while walking. In 2026, it takes place from Tuesday, June 9 to Friday, June 12. On
Thursday, there is the ‘Hat Day’, famous in Leiden. Everyone can then complete the route wearing their own chosen or homemade headgear.
After four days of walking, there is a festive finish on Friday. This final evening is traditionally a true spectacle with music, applause, and, of course, the coveted Evening Four Days March medal as a tangible memento of the achievement.
There are a maximum of 1,000 participation cards available, so register on time!
